This coastal town is one of the most picturesque places in the north of Croatia. Colorful harbor-side buildings, lush green islands and narrow old town streets make for an enchanting experience. However, this also means that many tourists flock to the town, hiking up prices and crowding the streets in summer. Food and accommodation was twice the cost of my stay in nearby Pula, so if you are on a budget I would recommend staying in Pula and taking the 40 minute bus to Rovinj for a day trip.
Here are some photos from my visit.
